My feet grew about 1/2 a size with my first child and not at all with the secong. I would hold off on selling your shoes to see how your body changes if at all. Everyone is different.

Do your feet hurt when they grow? Just wondering.

My mom gained a half size with each child (2).

ETA: We were about 3.5 and 6.5 pounds, respectively, so it was NOT because of large babies!

Yep, mine grew a whole size. Still a whole size bigger and then some more than 3 years later.

Mine didn’t change at all. I’m still the same size I was before.

My feet didn’t change at all, but my bra size changed permanently.

no, and i am really swollen and 39 weeks along…

but i can’t really wear most of my shoes for long because my feet swell–but by morning all my shoes fit again. we’ll see in the next few weeks.

not everyone’s shoe size changes

actually i was hoping my size would change because my size (5) is hard to find–a 5.5 to 6 would be easier! oh well.

mine went up by a half size, and the change was permanent. I would definitely wait until the baby is born to see how your body reacts

It’s one of those “wait and see” type things. Personally, I have asked all of my friends this, and the ONLY gals who didn’t fit back into their shoes after their babies are the ones who gained a crap ton of weight and who still haven’t lost it after the baby. Feet can get fat too…

I’m DEFINITELY not saying that’s what happens to everyone whose feet got bigger, I just found that this was what happened to the people I asked.

@Miss Root:  Oh. I also gained a crap ton of weight, but no shoe size change. I’m hoping that means I’ll lose it quickly. 🙂
