My husband keeps saying he wants to help go through our thousand-plus photos to pick which hundred-ish we want in the album, and what we should blow up, etc., but then… he never actually wants to do it!
Did your guy help, or did you do it on your own?

We aren’t married yet, but for our photo guestbook using our engagement photos, I just had him go through the photos independently and tell me which ones were must-haves. Then I made the book and had him look over it to veto/make suggestions.

Nine months post-wedding, we finally have our album! I did most of the work, because we are both really bad at finishing albums (went to Egypt, took 2 years to choose and develop pics…) I didn’t want that to happen with our wedding album.
I picked the pictures, and had him help with the hard choices. This was the hard part that took almost one month. Putting the album together once the photos were picked was fun and took one day.
He’s in charge of individual pictures and framing though! 😉

Our photog is doing our album, but we need to order it within 3 months of the wedding – it’s already been a month!

I sit on the computer and go through pics and then show him ones I pick and he vetoes (a lot). He’s kinda funny…doesn’t like many pictures of himself.

@JaneyD: Haha, that’s the opposite of my problem! I know if I just do it, it will be every picture that looks good of me, instead of us! I’ve gotten so used to knowing myself in photos over the years, and we have so few pictures together that I think he looks good in everything. He disagrees, haha…

For our engagement pictures we went through all of them (separately) and made lists of the ones we liked. We each came up with 5-10 photos and some of the photos were ones we both liked. Then we sat and narrowed it down together. However, we only had 300ish pictures to look through
For our wedding photos, we have over 2,000 to look through and I know my husband will not want to sit there and pick his favorites. So I have been narrowing them down and then I will give him some to look at so he still has some say in it!
