My body, aside from boobs, went back to the norm right after giving birth. In fact, when I finally dared to weigh myself and try pre pregnancy jeans on, a week after my son was born, I was 8/9 pounds LESS than I was pre pregnancy!

@lealorali:  I was wondering the same thing, but no mention of a second baby so maybe it was a typo. She looks great, though.

I was 27 when I had my daughter. 5’2″ 128 pre pregnancy. Gained 35 pounds. My  stomach definitely isnt the same but its not bad at all. I have some stretch  marks but not very noticeable. I have a tiny bit of sagginess in my tummy but my  family thinks I’m crazy so I guess you can’t reallly see it. But I guess we are  harder on ourselves than anything.

My advice don’t obsess about losing all the weight right a way. Also Exercise  during pregnancy. I actually did more during my pregnancy than I do at this  moment. (trying to juggle a lot at once right now) i ran till about 32 wks and  even did 2 5ks. try not to make pregnancy an excuse not to exercise. I believe  it helped me have an extremely easy pregnancy as well as lose the weight  afterward. Eat healthy and within reason. Doesnt mean you cant have dessert  every once in a while.

I can also say that breastfeeding for me was a HUGE reason my body went back.  People actually have told me I’m skinnier now and I eat MORE than I did when I  was pregnant. I am a very big believer in BF and know its what made me lose all  my weight.

Its important to keep in mind that everyone is different. And please try not  to beat yourself up if you get some stretch marks or arent as toned as someone  else who has had a baby. Just try to be the best YOU. I try to remember  that for myself as well and hey I have these stretch marks as a reminder of what  I went through for my baby girl and I think thats pretty special. (Even if they  arent that noticeable)

I have a 6 month and 2 year old both by c section. I was so scared my stomach would always look pregnant! Don’t give ourself a free paas to eat whatever you want, while pregnant you only need 300 extra calories, 500 while bereastfeeding. From my experience and friends as long as you eat healthy an do lots of ab work after you will be fine ๐Ÿ™‚ the only difference I notice is if I take a week off working out now you can tell, while before I had kids my muscle tone would stay longer.

get a belly binder for post baby. The hospital I had my first at gave me one but with me youngest they didn’t. It really helps support you and your back and help some of that muscle memory of where everything should be ๐Ÿ™‚ they sell them at babies are us but I didn’t feel that one gave enough support. My favorite one was actually from kourtney kardashian, it’s a lot wider and is actually pretty, which is nice when you are exhausted ๐Ÿ™‚

7 months pp here. I’m about 8 pounds from where I was pre-baby, and it’s pretty much equally spread between belly, arms, and thighs. I do work out when I can and try to eat well, but it’s tough with a baby who doesn’t always give you time or energy to prepare healthy meals and do crunches.

My stomach in particular is not as flat, but could get better with more ab exercises. Good luck on the pregnancy, just try not to over do any bad cravings and you’ll avoid access weight gain ๐Ÿ™‚

6 months pp last summer with some small stretch marks. ran through pregnancy  ate pretty well. now 12 months out, went down even more and lost a few more pounds (breastfeeding). Work out and eat healthy…all there is to it. I unfortunately dont think i couldve avoided the stretchies. It runs in the family. Good luck again to you!

@Boston_MrsS_to_be:  you look awesome, can’t even tell you have any stretch marks! it’s crazy how they fade over time anyways. I avoided them on my belly but got them on my butt, they are all but invisible now.
