From the beginning, I had one dream dress. I loved it since the first time I saw it. I always thought it was out of reach and never considered it a real option. However, I HAD to try it on. Turns out, it was THE dress. So I had to get it :] It was slightly over budget, but I’m only doing this once!

My dream dress is a pnina tornai.  I ended up with a pnina tornai.  Its not a brand new one which would be ideal, but I purchased a sample gown from church street bridal whose proceeds go to abused women and children so it was a win win.  I got my dream designer and I helped people in the process.

I found my dress on the Allure website and right then, I knew it was the dress of my dreams. It was basically everything I could have wanted and more in a dress. It actually ended up being MUCH cheaper than expected.

Yes and no. If I had unlimited money, I still would have gotten my dress. However, my dream dress was actually made by an independent designer in NYC and I didn’t have the nerve to buy a dress that I couldn’t try on before hand.

I don’t have a dream dress per se (at least not yet), so my answer is that my dress will likely be custom made based on a lot of other dresses i like- so yes.

I did have an unlimited budget but I never had THE dream dress. When I found what I wanted I was thrilled it was under $2k as I had predicted I would spend much more.

Luckily, my dream dress (maggie sottero Marianne) was in my price range! I picked her up yesterday!

I always dreamed about Vera Wang’s Gemma. I could never bring myself to spend so much on a dress so I bought a similar VW White gown. It was lovely and I tried to love it as much as the Gemma but it just wasn’t quite right. So about a month later I came across a Gemma sample in my size for less than 30% of the original price …. and the rest is history 🙂 So so happy with my Gemma!

I didn’t have a specific dream dress, but at one salon there was a dress that was so gorgeous on the hanger but it was about $20,000 so I didn’t try it on. If money was no object, perhaps I would have put it on and fallen in love, but I’m still happy with the custom $2200 dress I did end up with (:

forever_a_bride:  I want the Naiomi Neoh Clementine dress from her Secret Garden Collection. Too expensive for ny budget, so I will go with Dressilyme to make her replica for a much cheaper price.
