I hate doing gift exchanges so I’ll probably go with no.

He gets me. That’s the gift that keeps on giving. No refunds. No exchanges.

I got him a little gift bag with some fireball whiskey, chicken in a bizkit, and EZ cheese hahaha…he got me a beautiful painting by my favorite artist. Not really equal. But my gift came in late so we ended up just reading cards while standing back to back right before our first look. I loved it 🙂

FutureMrsJefferson:  I’m not sure he will but I will. I’ve been saving up for a Baume and Mercier watch he mentioned he really liked.

We did a gift exchange. all I really wanted was a nice heartfelt card to read the morning of our wedding but Darling Husband also bought me a necklace with a small champagne diamond, it wasn’t very expensive but it ls beautiful and has a very nice sentiment behind it. I bought him a gift certificate to get three custom made work shirts at a small hip mens store. He will get to sip whiskey and smoke a cigar while being measured and pick out every detail down to the buttonS. Nothing he would ever buy for himself but a nice treat for a man who works very hard at a job that requires him to dress sharp.

Oh and I also left high quality cigars that I purchased out for him and his groomsmens to indulge while they got ready at our home.

    That’s so sweet!

I did a boudoir photo shoot and got a book printed for him, and he made me a very personal animation of us and our relationship over the years (he’s a graphic designer).

We exchanged gifts while getting ready… the best man ferried then back and forth. He gave me a pair of diamond stud earrings (that I now wear every day) and I gave him a nice leather wallet (he likes practical gifts).

FutureMrsJefferson:  We didn’t. Honestly, it was just another thing to worry about. We wrote each other letters the morning of, had the Bridesmaid or Best Man and Maid/Matron of Honor exchange them, and then read them. It was fine and we didn’t miss receiving gifts.

FutureMrsJefferson:  we plan to but not sure exactly what the gifts will be yet. I’m debating between wanting a bracelet I’ve been wanting fooooorver or diamonds earrings (to wear on the wedding day) but we’ll see. For him, I’ve been wanting to get him some fancy guitar he’s been wanting forever and getting it engraved. But who knows, we might be so tapped out on money at that point we might scrap gifts all together!!

We figure that because our wedding is such an important day and also a costly one, why add the stress of picking a gift for each other and the stress of adding another thing to the budget. Our love is the most important thing about our wedding day so we didn’t feel the need to add a materialistic aspect to it!

Im getting him locket cuff links with photos of his father who passed when he was a child to wear for the wedding. It’s taken some work with his family to get the photos in and to keep him from buying the links he needs for the outfit!
