YES! I worry all the time! I am young 22 my Darling Husband is 38 so I am always concerned about it. This will be our first TTC cycle hopefully it happens fairly quickly for us I am really hopeful. He on the otherhand is not concerned at all in his mind we try and bam it will happen the first time which is so not the case but he doesn’t worry at all.

haha, the first month we started officially trying,Darling Husband was super confident, and just kept saying “just think, you WILL be pregnant by the end of the month” 4 cycles later I think he has fianlly realised it isnt like it is in the movies, and hes been educated on a lot on stuff like ovulation days, chances of getting preggo each month, and all sorts of other stuff.

Maybe sit down with him and talk about things he might not know about?

I don’t think you should be worrying yet.  You haven’t even started to try!! Quit reading the TTC boards if they are making you a worry wart.  Personally if my Fiance was freaking out about something that we hadn’t even attempted yet I would be a little annoyed.  I would keep it to yourself.

My Darling Husband is clueless to. He doesn’t believe that it can take up to a year to get preggers. He’s convinced that we’ll get KU the first time we try. …. It’s frustrating…. Lol

I did.  I had gotten pregnant easy with a previous partner.  We DTD every other day, I charted and my instinct told me something was wrong.  I pushed him to get a SA and we were both floored to find out that he has 0 sperm.

Luckily, Darling Husband was more excited than me about TTC, so we started right away.  He’s in his 40s and we felt like we didn’t have time to waste.

But, chances are, if your cycles are regular, statitically, you are probably fine.  You both need to be on board with this decision.

Best of luck!  I hope he decides that it’s time soon!
