Augh. I went on an interview on Friday and felt really great about this job. I was interviewing for a Nanny position for 3 kids who were moving from the Northwest. I’ve been having a really hard time finding a job in my area that’s even close to what I want and this one was near perfect. I thought I did a great job on the interview, but got beaten out by someone who speaks native French.
I just got the news. Back to square one I guess. I’m just super depressed now because I was looking forward to having extra cash for my Darling Husband and I. And we were hoping to start saving up for a dog. I’m just sitting here alone at home crying and I just needed to share my sad news with someone. 🙁

I feel your pain :(. I’ve been on three interviews that I was sure I nailed, and still haven’t gotten a new job. What helps me is getting right back on careerbuilder and applying for more jobs. Keep your chin up, eventually the economy will turn around and we’ll be able to find jobs.

Don’t worry, there must be something else out there for you!
“When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.”
This quote has helped me and some of my friends get through some difficult times….

I’m so sorry to hear that! Job hunting sucks. Go treat yourself to something comforting like a hot bath or some mac and cheese.
