Perfect excuse to go shopping!!! I know understand how you’re feeling.. If i were her I wouldn’t wear white.  If you go to anything wedding oriented.. never wear white unless you are the bride.  :o)

I agree with the other bees… GO SHOPPING! πŸ™‚ Wear something that you are going to feel beautiful in. I know it’s just an engagement party but it’s your party! All eyes need to be on you and your Fiance.

Yes, go get yourself a pretty dress. It’s your engagement party afterall πŸ™‚

Found this on ASOS, not too pricey and it looks casual enough for a summer backyard party.

@FoolsintheRain:  Totally understandable – and you’re handling it well. πŸ™‚ But I want to reassure you – I’m pretty confident that a neutral observer would NOT agree that your sis is prettier than you; we all tend to undervalue our own looks when comparing to our friends and family!!

I hope you find a rockin’ dress that you love, and I know that you will be the belle of the ball!

She might be cuter but where are her manners? It’s not nice to wear a white dress to someone else’s engagement party, it’s an event for the bride! Go find yourself a hot little dress and show her what’s up!

I agree with others its time to go find yourself a sexy dress.

While I don’t think there’s a hard and fast rule about wearing white to an engagement party for someone else, i think generally its good to stay away from white unless your the bride.

Might want to drop that to her, so she’s not in white at your bridal shower/wedding.
