bibilicious : I didn’t, purely because I thought it would get in the way, I did consider something at one point even just for my lipgloss.

As much as I love designer bags, I didn’t use one for my wedding for the same reason as PP.

My planner brought all the things I would need from our hotel with her to the venue as it had a bridal suite.  If I wanted to touch up my lipstick or anything, I just had to run upstairs.

bibilicious :  I think if you want your wedding to be a great excuse for a designer clutch you can totaly go with that but as far as function you won’t really use it.

For real, this is a detail I overlooked and wish I hadn’t! My Maid/Matron of Honor had my lipgloss and touch up powder tucked in her bag…it would have been so much more convenient to have my own!

Plus…even if it wasn’t a ‘designer bag’…you can never have enough cute clutch purses! I’ve been nursing the same ‘sad’ black one since PROM…for those of you who are curious that is about 12 years…

I sort of am in the camp that having a clutch to go with your wedding dress is pointless.. Like when are you going to actually carry it? You’ll have your bouquet already and then if you need to borrow the restroom for any reason, more than likely you’ll have a couple girls with you already, and the bags and any necessary supplies etc will probably be stored somewhere around or in the bathroom anyhow. I feel like.. Save your money! It may be cute, but it’s totally non-functional!
