youngbrokebride :  I paid for everyone, including my mom, stepmom, and Mother-In-Law. The moms didn’t get ready with us, but they came over for hair and makeup and then headed back to their own places to finish getting ready.

I’ve organised and paid for my Future Mother-In-Law. I actually… didn’t think to ask her if she wanted to get ready with me. I just kinda assumed. Ooops.

I did not invite Future Mother-In-Law. Top reason is to prevent drama. Step-MIL will be present because her young daughters (FI’s half sisters) are junior bridesmaids and Future Mother-In-Law hates her. Future Mother-In-Law is the type that would make a scene.

I figured Future Mother-In-Law would be happy spending the morning with her only child.

Definitely pay for it. She’s included in the bridal party. Try and have the MUA bring someone up help her on the wedding day

youngbrokebride :  I organized and paid for my mom and DH’s mom to have their hair and makeup done with myself and my BMs.  I’ve always seen the MOG included in the girls’ getting ready time.  I’m not sure what you could do now besides ask if your MUA is ok with starting a little earlier to include her (we started around 8 and everyone looked great!).

I asked both my mom and Mother-In-Law if they wanted makeup done. They both declined so I didn’t need to worry about payment.

I would see if your MUA can start earlier to accomodate her, and jsut let her know what the price is.

I included her without asking her… I would just assume she’d rather get ready with us ladies.

I organized and paid for my mom, Mother-In-Law and bridesmaids.  I didn’t want Mother-In-Law to feel left out and not look the part since she’s technically part of the wedding party.  It’s a nice gesture.

Nope! She didn’t get ready with us.

It’s not traditional for the MOG to get ready with the the bridesmaids, but I did extend the offer.
