Hey ya’ll! I’m down almost 5 lbs! Having my salad and baked fish right now!
It’s getting much much easier when there’s great support and plus the change to my stopping all forms of fast food is great 🙂 My hubs loves the fact I’m cooking alot more now.
He also loves that I bought “Cook This, Not That” which is created by the guy who has the column in “Men’s Health” magazine (he loves that magazine).
It’s a tastier version of the way the Hungry Girl recipes are, using really good recipes stolen and made healthier than the restaurant recipes are!
Let’s keep on going! My goal is 30 by spring break! (April 4-8). Plus DH and I are going to have a romantic one year anniversary trip later this summer too, and our family vacation 🙂

I’m totally sucking at this! I eat healthy all day and I come home and raid our candy drawer….it’s not usually a candy drawer, only has been since Christmas and I HATE IT! I’m also on my period right now and I feel like I can only have chocolate lol we all know thats not the case. I want to lose weight yet I keep eating the candy. Hmm…. obviously I don’t want it that bad then right? But I DO! lol Tomorrow is a new day…. Here’s to starting over! 🙂

I’m discouraged. I have been making all of our meals really healthy, counting my calories, and working out almost every night. I got on the Wii Fit last night, and it said I gained three pounds! What?! Am I doing something wrong? I’m also on my period, so does that play a role in weighing more? Agghhhh.

Well today we were snowed in (more like iced in) so we took a long walk (about 2.5 miles) in the snow and ice!
Sticking to diet. Had salad for lunch, and some yogurt (plain vanilla yoplait with red raspberries added).
We’re getting ready to cook dinner in a bit. Just sticking to the basic diet plan and so far it’s working! I put on a pair of jeans this weekend that I haven’t worn in 3 months!
It’s gonna suck, but I think I’ll actually be smaller than I was at my own wedding. But at least for our vacations and anniversary I will look much better (bee healthier too!).

dont get discouraged!!! – your time of the month does affect your weight too – not to mention if you are working out more than usual you might be gaining muscle – which of course we all know muscle weighs more than fat… so you might just be getting buffer.
you might want to measure inches instead of weight if thats the case – it is more of an acurate way to judge if you are the type that grows muscle quickly. 🙂

I weighed myself at the gym today. I lost 5lbs! YAY!
Bees, you would be SOOO proud of me. We had our annual National Sales Meeting this week for work. There is food EVERYWHERE at these things. I mean a ton of sweets, pastries, desserts, pasta, fried food…all the bad stuff when you are trying to lose the lbs! The whole time I was there I only ate one dessert…one little piece of tiramisu. Everytime our dinner was served, I ate only the veggies and meat…no potatos or pasta! At every lunch buffet, I skipped right over the starches and the fried foods. and went straight for the salads and veggies. During every break between meetings I skipped over the donuts, muffins, and pastries and grabbed a piece of fruit instead. Every morning I was there, I woke up at 5am to go work out for 45 min before our meetings started!! It was tough, but I felt really good about myself once it was over.

is anyone elses DH/FH derailing their dieting efforts?
my DH has been plopped on the couch all day watching sports. im bored out of my mind – but everyone else is doing stuff.
so what do i do when im bored? i eat. ugh. just weighed myself and i have officially gained the 5 pounds i lost UGH!!!

I am so bad about eating when I’m bored! Even when I know I’m full and satisfied something will sound or look good and I’ll eat it….I WASN’T EVEN HUNGRY! WHY, Why do we do it!!! All this past week I really have sucked with my eating 🙁 I had a lot of sugary things, christmas candy and just junk. I knew I was starting P90x tomorrow and knew I wouldn’t be eating it after starting that, still I shouldn’t have used that as an excuse. I’m hoping tomorrow I will get back on track, especially if I’m going to be working my butt off, I don’t want to just waste all that time just to eat junk!
Another thing that gets me, I always snack WAY more than my husband. He only eats when he is hungry, it is just so annoying! He needs to be the one who is eating more! I need to learn form him!
Tomorrow is another day, just get back on track! Someone told me once, if you really want to lose weight you will. Sounds so simple right?!

Hey ladies just checking in. I have lost 11 lbs in 3 weeks! just counting all my calories on Sparkpeople.com and eating really really healthy! I am down a dress size already!
