I applaud your willpower, but if you are light headed and shaking with hunger then your body is telling you to EAT.

Keep cut up veggies and low fat dips etc handy. Freeze healthy meals so you can chuck ’em in the microwave at a minutes notice.. but don’t not eat! Your body will go into starvation mode, and you will not maximise your weight loss.

I say all this with love,  and totally respect your commitment to being the best bride you can be, but just be KIND to yourself.

Well done!  It’s those times when you want to eat NOW that it’s easiest to be weak, isn’t it?  Quite a few times I’ve given in and said ‘but I was hungry/busy/rushed’ and let myself off the hook.  I read somewhere that you can trick your body out of feeling hungry by distracting yourself for 10 mins with something else like brushing your teeth or having a drink, but I think that’s more for those times when you want to eat out of habit.

I agree with Mrs Bird that being light-headed probably means you needed to eat something, and well done for choosing the diet shake rather than something naughty.  I keep diet bars in the cupboard for those times and bananas are great too.
