(Closed) 'Dieting for the Day' bees, what are you *not* giving up?

I’m the exact same! I cannot and will not consider giving up my chocolate. But instead of having a bar, I have a square of dark chocolate. Does the trick, for a 10th of the calories!

Pasta!

I’m a RunnerBee training for a half marathon, so I would DIE if I couldn’t eat my weight in pasta every day!

I’ve been dieting since October, and I’ve not given up anything; I just calorie-count.

I’ve lost 1.5 stone and kept it off, so, it works for me. I find if I forbid myself something, I just crave it more, and I believe no food is intrinsically ‘bad’; it’s all about moderation.

Eg if I fancy chocolate, I will have chocolate; but I’ll have something like one single, nice chocolate, or a Jaffa Cake, rather than a big bar. If I’m going out for dinner and know I’ll end up ordering pizza, I’m just more careful for the rest of the day. Etc.

I cannot give up coffee with Irish cream. I know that cream is awful for me, but I will give up everything but. 🙂
