@gigipharma:  your diamond is beautiful! And how cool it has a slight pink tint! Does your report mention the color tint? My lab was also made by diamond foundry, they truly make a gorgeous diamond!

@newbeegirl:  No the report doesnt. Soo according to my jeweler who works with diamond foundry alot, she says that they are the only grower that sometimes have diamonds that show a slight pink tint.  I dont know if it’s the way they grow them or what.  Its only in some of the J or K colored ones.  Also some of their J or K color have a yellow/brown tint instead of the pink.  Its weird.  She worked hard to find me one with that pink tint to it and in a large carat size.  They just dont make hardly and 4-5 carat emerald cut diamonds which is unfortunate.  I honestly wanted to go closer to 5.5 or even 6 carat because this was my 5th year anniversary upgrade but they just didnt exist with Diamond Foundry and not with the pink tint.  I still love it but I would have loved to be able to choose from say 3 different sizes.

@gigipharma: I never knew that about them, how neat! And congratulations on 5 years!! 💕

Mine is much smaller at 1.15ct but I didn’t want to go much larger for fear it’d look like a doorknob on my smaller fingers! 😂

Aurorabride has a very pretty oval lab diamond. She might see this thread and post, but if not, I think you should pm her and ask for the name of her vendor. She got a great deal on the stone.

@minainthea:  @aurorabride got her lab diamond from Yash Diam via IndiaMart. Her ring is stunning – hope she chimes in!

@gigipharma:  I loveeeeee your ring!!! do you know- do all diamonds produced by diamond foundry have the pink, yellow, or brown tints to them? I had a virtual appointment with them but you can’t view true stones- just the online images .. and the videos and pictures of similar color grade and clarity on BE and JA just look so much more bright than the ones featured on diamond foundry and VRAI’s websites and don’t seem to have the tints. Any input you have on it is greatly appreciated! I’m digging around for a 2.25-2.75ct round brilliant and am in love with Vrai and Diamond Foundry but am concerned about the tints and brightness. I actually didn’t see the tint on your diamond so I’m not sure if I’d even notice.

@lauralei101:  ty very much! and no they dont.  The tints are only with lower colors J and K and maybe some I’s but many of the I color ones do not.  They face up very white to me.  I also am not color sensitive as I do not prefer DEFG colors.  There is something beautiful with a bit of warmness to stones in my opinion.  However,  I was gifted a second engagement ring for date nights by my hubby- (something a bit mroe low key), and I chose an I color oval (smaller- 3 carats) for date night and it has 0 tint (from diamond foundry)  My friend also chose a emerald made by diamond foundry through kegan from frank darling also and it has 0 tint.  ill insert a pic.  Reach out to her, she will pull the stones and take videos if you want.

@gigipharma:   your ring is stunning!!

Mine has more of a pinkish undertone than a true tint. It took me forever to get a photo to show it!

I put it next to an ascher cz for color comparison.

Most of the time it looks pure white to me though.
