Hi everyone. I know the groom will get a very unique boutonniere. We will be handing out small boutonnieres to aunts and uncles as well, but I was wondering if the boutonnieres to immediate family (such as our parents, siblings and grandparents) should be different from those we give our aunts and uncles, and whether the groomsmen boutonnieres need to look deifferent as well! Thanks!

I used different ones for each "position" in the wedding. The ushers had a certain flower, grandparents had a certain flower, dads, groomsman, etc. They were all in the same color scheme tho. I did the same thing with mothers, grandmothers, etc. It worked well, and we were able to incorporate lots of favorite flowers and colors in the wedding!
I don’t think there are any particular rules tho. Just do what you think looks best for you!

I don’t think there are any rules, but I’ve seen it done that way. Sometimes, the groom is unique, the groomsmen have their own set, and everyone else (family, etc) gets a third kind. Other times, there are just two different types. Get as many as you like!
