I decided that I wanted to let my bridesmaids choose which dresses they wanted to wear (one less thing to worry about, right??). Well I have 4 bridesmaids and two of them picked the same dress (I didn’t tell them they couldn’t). The other two have yet to decide and I don’t know whether I should tell them to pick the same dress as the other 2 girls or pick their own dresses. I guess I am just worried that it will look weird with 2 girls wearing the same dress and 2 girls wearing different dresses. HELP!

I was in a wedding in January where we were allowed to pick our own dress style (From the same collection and color) and one friend and I choose the same dress and it turned out fine…. Here is a photo for you to see. I am on the right and my friend in the middle has on the same dress I do.

yeah, I think you should tell them to either pick the same dress as the other girls, or the same dress as each other, or totally different. It would be fine to have 2-1-1, or 2-2, just not 3-1.

I think it looks fine! I had an Maid/Matron of Honor and a groomsmaid who wore two completely different dresses but they had somewhat the same coloring scheme in the different patterns and NOBODY noticed LOL. I doubt anyone will here either. I even had to look closely to see which ones where the same 😉

I let them pick and all 6 of them picked the same dress haha
I think it is fine if 2 of them want the same dress. I agree with the above 2 and 2 or 2 1 1 are fine just not 3 to 1 unless it is your Maid/Matron of Honor who is the odd one out then I think that still works
