I am going to be a bridesmaid with 2 (maybe 3) other women, and the bride is keen on having us all wear different coloured dresses, flowers and accessories. e.g. purple, red, green, blue.
Has anyone done this at their wedding or seen it done? How did you think it looked? Please post any pictures you may have!

I see this all the time as a stylist (part time break from nursing 😀!) at DB. Usually the bride keeps her choices of bridesmaid gowns in the same color pallette and it can look really neat.

These were Mine. They suited my bridesmaids personalities too!

I saw this ages ago and loved it. It’s not the exact colours you mentioned but can give you an idea. If she does it right it will look fanastic.

That is AMAZING! I love everything about it.

I agree with the colors being in the same palette. I have seen it done in a rainbow of colors, or very contrasting – and it isn’t as appealing to me, has a bit too much going on for my taste. I had different colored Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, with my MoH being in the “pop” color.

That’s a very pretty ensemble! But yes, my friend seems most interested in using three or four different/contrasting colours…
I really like this! Even though they are different colours, the fact that they are all pastels makes them match in a nice way. Though I’m a pretty pale redhead and don’t know how pastel colours would look on me.
The whole ‘matching the dress to the personality’ thing is exactly what’s she going for. That’s why she wants me in green (Irish descent, love nature and LOTR elves and stuff)

I know isn’t it?! This pic got me thinking about doing a similar thing of different colours.

I think it looks fantastic, though you do have to get the right balance.
I’m loving seeing all the Bees’ examples. Beautiful!

I do not get married until August, however these are the dresses my bridesmaids will be in. No photo of them all together unfortunately.
My only conditions were that they were a pastel colour, long and flowy. As you can see each dress is a different style and colour, best suited to each ‘maid!
