It depends on the look you are going for. Many weddings have Bridesmaids wearing differently dresses. If you find a similar dress in the same color and fabric people will barely notice the difference and even if they do it will still compliment the other dresses

I was a bridesmaid in my aunts wedding a few years ago, she let us pick out whatever dress we wanted..she just wanted them all to be knee length. It looked fine because some girls look good in some dresses and some don’t. So it was nice that it was flattering to each of us.

How about having your plus-sized Bridesmaid or Best Man select a gown that suits her body properly.  Then, offer the rest of the BM’s a choice of both gowns.  Just an idea…

I definitely wouldn’t put your Fiance sister into a different dress than the girls.  It will be very noticeable (even a different material, same color) etc.  I would, however, be open to different dresses.

I had the same prob with my girls.  So, I had them all pick their own dresses (as long as it came in glass green, was tea-length, and in satin).  That way there is some type of uniformity (for me to be happy with).

Here are the pics (of the models because I have to see them all together in their dresses that fit lol)  And I think it looks lovely!

I think njm1313:has the right idea. Pick the color, length and let them choose their own dress.
