DH’s band has my finger print on it 🙂 It cost us about $500, because we’re Canadian so it cost us extra because of the exchange rate (thankfully not as bad when we bought it as it is now) and the cost of shipping it across the border. It’s sterling silver, I tried to convince Darling Husband that he’s too hard on his hands for SS but he didn’t believe me so when the exchange rate goes to a more reasonable level we’re going to upgrade to a white gold version of the same ring.

Me and the Fiance just went & looked at rings for him for the first time today! He’s been saying all he wants is a simple gold band with NOTHING on it. I showed him some today that had some simple designs on it though and think I convinced him to get something on it to set it apart. For solid gold, they were about $400-$600 depending on the thickness of the band and if there were any type of designs.

He ended up with a rose gold and white gold ring.  Its rose gold in the middle, banded on the sides with white gold. It cost a whopping $1000.  I had such sticker shock, but it was just about the only ring he liked after a year of searching, so I was happy to get it for him.

FI’s wedding band is from Tiffany’s — it’s a 6mm flat platinum band. He picked it after trying on a ton (and after initially being deadset on yellow gold). He liked this one because it has a clean, modern look and loved the weight of it. I think it was around $2300.

DH’s ring is a platinum Artcarved Pendelton. He liked the classic design and it’s very durable. I think it was about $2200?

This is the one my Fiance picked. I was really surprised he wanted a stone in it but oh well 🙂 As long as he is happy right? The inside is rose gold, I was surprised with that one too! lol

ETA: Details! I forgot the details! We got this from an etsy designer and it costs us $260 and included a free engraving on the inside. The designer had been a dream to work with. Its tungsten on the outside and rose gold on the inside. The stone is a black diamond

His engagement ring. (He took this picture at work because there was good lighting. I am proud that he’s so proud of it!)

It’s titanium, and super heavy; he likes it. Regardless, with engraving cost less than $150CAD from a store called Adore (www.adoreforlife.com).

We liked the wedding bands as wedding bands, so went into a casual jewlry store with a men’s ring section and he decided on a ring! (: (Not something I would have picked, just as he admits he wouldn’t’ve picked my engagement ring.) His wedding band will cost approximately $600 or so? We’ll go shopping again to see if we can find a ring he likes better. (:

(I think I’ve covered all the questions? )
