This is the ring I just put a down payment on. It was 2500 and SO picked it out himself. My friends joke around and say he’s the bride LOL

jubiebee:  ahhh happy birthday! I do not have any kitties right now, I had a kitty named Mr. Knightley but he got sick. And my kitty Achilles that I raised from infancy (was thrown out of a car at 2 weeks and had a shattered heel) still lives with my parents. He’s truly my spoiled brat.!

punchberry:  That’s beautiful. Just chunky enough to be masculine, but elegant attractive and timeless too. Just a personal taste thing but I am not keen on the trend for men’s rings that look like bits of machinery that fell off a car.

OP- my Fiance hasn’t got a ring yet but we’ll go for simple white gold. I’ve heard horror stories about titanium and the jeweller told us to avoid it at all costs because in an accident/swelling incident it is much more risky as the metal can take an hour to saw off. I wasn’t aware of this before  and since then I’ve heard more stories that made me squeam,  so worth thinking about before you buy.

This is my husbands ring. It’s 6 mm and made out of titanium with scratched surface and a shiny line of 18k gold. We paid about $800 for it. The most expensive titanium ring I’ve ever seen but it was custom made by a reputable designer/metal artist here in Sweden. My husband and I decided on the look together, as in I searched for inspiration online and came up with this suggestion and my husband said “Yes!”, lol! I originally suggested (and expected) him to wear a plain gold ring, but he thought that was boring and wanted something more special and “masculine”. I love his ring and so do he!

Studio picture from the designer.

Next to my set.

Hi bridetobeinCLE, The ring looks stunning. I purchased 14Kt Yellow and White Diamond Band ring for my fiance from “Daimond and Gold Warehouse”. The cost of the ring is $975. He likes the ring very much.

IMG_20160104_125750our rings together. my ring was my grandmother’s very first band with her first husband(my maternal grandfather). My husbands band was my Pops ring who was her second husband but they had been married since before I was born so I really grew up with three grandfathers. Very lucky. He recently passed away from cancer and she gave me his first band they had when they were first married. I had to really hold back the tears that day! I love seeing it on his finger. It is a reminder of their love which is something to look up to!

jubiebee:  I LOVE those wood/tree/metal rings! so nice. My favorite you posted is the first one!

lawandbeauty53:  Yes they are mountains!  It’s supposed to be a mountain range with a lake at the bottom.  SO is very outdoorsy and we live in a mountainy area with tons of beautiful lakes around so we wanted something that reflected that.

My husband has a black hammered ring from James Allen. I can’t remember how much we paid for it. Maybe around $200 but he never wears it LOL I got him a qalo band as well but he doesn’t wear that either. He works around machinery so he can’t wear rings to work.
