Hmm that I’m not sure of.  I have 14k gold and platinum its been fine.  I think maybe gold and silver would be okay…

I have both metals in the e-ring itself, Top part with the diamonds is silver and after the diamonds there… the bottom of the ring is gold. And my wedding band is plain gold… I am not married yet, so we will see how this goes! I may weld them together so they don’t “rub”.

My engagement ring is white gold and my wedding band is gold

I have been so back and forth with it now, I love that it’s unique but i’m worried it’s too thick? i do love the gold/white gold mix though. I wanted something that was mismatched, a ring that was vintage and a ring that I could wear on it’s own.

My e-ring is 14k white gold. I was going to do the same for my wedding band, but I fell in love with the titanium band that my FI designed and I had a matching (but thinner) band made for me! I love it!! Originally I thought different metals wouldn’t look nice, but when I tried them next to each other they look great and I can’t tell the difference between the metals.
