My ring my Fiance step mom picked out I was exhausted with looking for an engagement ring and was overanalyzing every ring I saw so when his mom sent him a picture of my ring I was like go for it. I love my ring but it seats up higher than I’d like and I’m constantly snagging it on clothes fabric etc. I plan to always keep my engagement ring but we are going to “upgrade” in a year or so. We also took out the small diamond that was in the ring and replaced it with a one carat moissanite. I don’t see any rings like mine and I really love that it is so unique

Sorry if my picture came out large…

Mine is definitely different! The jeweler that made it said he is sure nothing like it exists in the world! I love colored diamonds so I knew that I wanted a range of color for my ring. I am also into mid century design so I liked the idea of a Starburst for the top of my ring. The few colors I didn’t use in me ring will be going into the wedding band design I will have custom made.

My rings are very ” different” in that I’ve given up the solitaire diamond I had for a couple of unique rings in exchange. When I was younger, getting the biggest, best diamond was all I wanted! After several upgrades over the years I have done a complete 180 and now wear my Tacori ring with a 3.5 carat garnet, ( hubby’s birthstone) center and a 5 carat tanzanite ring. I have a Tacori diamond band I wear with both. I love the colored stones, (again something I would never have liked when I first got married!) For the amt. of money we spent, I could have had a good size diamond solitaire, but instead we spent a lot of money on the intricate settings, with the gemstone centers. Plus I but I loved the idea of having two rings, one for each of my daughters when I’m gone, and I do love having something unique!

Mine is also partly the “newly popular” rose gold, but with a unique setting that Fiance customized.
I haven’t seen anything like it before and I was surprised he chose something with such an intricate design, but I love it! 😀
