I have a master’s degree in deaf education and I sign fluently. So I sign “I love you”

Lol, Darling Husband says “elephant shoes,” sometimes. It’s supposed to look like your saying “I love you,” when you really aren’t. Now it’s become a little joke between us.

Haha, yup, Jack says “I wanna beat you up”.

A little odd, I’ll admit. I guess you have to be there.

Nah… we pretty much say “I love you” whenever we feel like it. We just kissed and said I love in the lobby of my office today. (not like a mad, passionate one) I think PDA is natural and important, to a point.

He said the I love you first.  I wasn’t ready to.  I’d say .. “Hey” and he’d say …”Yeah” … I’d answer ..”mmmm just …. Hey” and he would say “Hey you too” .. sooo silly l

@Nona99:  I love that movie!!

Mine’s a movie quote too…before we go to sleep I say, “Goodnight, Thanks for the freakfest.”  From zoolander…even though we didn’t do it LOL.  When I forget, he magically remembers and it cracks me up!

@HisIrishPrincess:  Ha! That’s very similar to us. At home we’ll often say “HEY!” to get the other’s attention then “I love you” quietly. So when we’re around family or whatever we’ll sometimes just say “Hey!” and then smile at each other so we don’t gross everyone out. 🙂

We say I love you whenever we leave each other, whether it’s going out to dinner or something work related.  We don’t live together so we make our I love yous counts.  If we are having a busy day or super busy we text or say 831.

We use squeezes to say it. Like, if we’re holding hands somewhere, I’ll squeeze his hand 3 times and he’ll reply with 4-5 squeezes in return. It’s nice for telling each other we’re still thinking of them in group situations. 🙂
