My sister (my MOH) is wearing a different dress from my other 3 BMs (same color/fabric, different style). This was my sister’s idea–she wanted to stand out.

I am the Maid/Matron of Honor in my sister’s wedding and my dress is a slightly different style (same fabric). I am also wearing a brooch at my waist instead of the sash the BMs will be wearing.

I’m no help, I haven’t done anything to differeniate her from the rest.  I just don’t want to.  If I were though, I’d only do subtle differences.  I am into symmetry and all that so when the Maid/Matron of Honor is wearing a completely different dress, it throws it all off for me.  It can still look pretty, I just don’t love the look.  But a different color sash, or something less obvious is nice.

I’m going to put her in different shoes!! We’re looking for a print shoe that would go with the dresses, while my other girls will be in silver shoes!! Hope this helps :]

I’m not sure how I will be doing mine, probably just a different bouquet. In the past I have seen MOH’s with the same dress but a different accent color (like a sash, or trim), and with a larger bouquet full of slightly different flowers. In the recent wedding I was in, the Bride incorporated a lot of white into the MOH’s attire: white belt on the dress, mostly white flowers, etc.
