Your colors are absolutely lovely!

Honestly, I don’t think there is a wrong way to go here. All of the colors, regardless of what color the linen or runner is, is going to be so gorgeous!

Personally, I would do the ivory tablecloth with royal blue runner with the yellow underneath or vice versa. That sounds so pretty! I just wouldn’t do any black linens on the tables because the centerpieces are black and it might look a bit dark.

Are you doing any favors on the tables? Because if not, having some sort of yellow favor would also bring out the yellow if you decided against the yellow as the table runner.

Like I said, your colors are stunning together so really, whatever you choose will look great!

I would definately say an Ivory Candle. There are candles out there that are long lasting, as well, so they will not burn out quickly. I’m assuming this is a votive candle?

I would do just an ivory tablecloth with the wrought iron centrepiece, because I like simple. I think a royal blue runner would fit nicely as well.

If you want to tie in more of the kilt colours, I think that adding some tartan to the centerpiece would be fantastic. I suppose it depends on what you can source, and how much it is (I know family tartans can be expensive ’cause they’re woven out of wool in scotland), but you could try some ribbon on the candleholders, or a square of tartan below them. Or, you could print your own tartan on cardstock, and use it to make favourboxes for the table, like jm1217 sugggested.

If you just want to tie in some of the yellow, I think doing a second runner with the royal blue would be too much. I would use flowers to tie it in, since they’d gove a much softer effect. Even just do rosepetals sprinkled on the table, if you don’t want to spring for major expense.

I have 15 currently painted silver plant holders that hold a glass globe. We used them for flowers at 2010 wedding and candles at 2011 wedding. You can spay them black again. I

Also have a few yellow buckets and a yellow basket. Our colors for shower were Royal blue and yellow.

Basket is $3.00, 2 Buckets are $5.00 and centerpieces are $15.00 plus shipping for all. Suzanne3469
