I have been having a really tough pregnancy. I have endomitriosis, and the past month I feel like everything that can go wrong HAS gone wrong. I feel like my body is really fighting me on this pregnancy. I have had a lot of bleeding, a lot of anxiety, and my blood pressure is extremely high. I have been placed on Bridal Party medication, but if my Bridal Party is not down by Monday, my doctor is putting me on complete bed rest. 🙁 The baby has had a really elevated heart rate as well…I feel like my stress is really harming my little one! This has been a very tough experience, but I am thankful to have a great doctor who checks up on me every single week. I also have been getting ultrasounds once a week…I am thankful for the peace of mind!
Anyone else going through something similar?

Ugh, I’m sorry – that sounds incredibly tough. I really hope the Bridal Party medication works and you can avoid bed rest! It’s also great to hear that you have a wonderful doctor who is taking such good care of you.
I don’t have any words of advice, just wanted to wish you well and let you know I was thinking of you. Fingers crossed everything starts getting better for you.

Wow Daredevil! That sounds really difficult. Do your best to relax and keep your mind at ease, even if you have to think about other things. I hope the best for you.

Ugh. Sounds difficult. Good luck with everything. Have you tried yoga or meditation? Either of those might at least help you to relax, which could have a positive effect on your blood pressure. We’ve had friends over the past year who have gone through all sorts of difficult and high-risk pregnancies. If it makes you feel better, all of the babies have turned out just fine. One friend was on 4 months of bedrest. Another is experiencing lots of heavy bleeding throughout her pregnancy. My pregnancy hasn’t been the easiest either — I’ve had continual morning sickness that looks like it won’t be going away until I deliver at this point. Sometimes it’s so easy to get frustrated. We go into this thinking that pregnancy is supposed to be easy and natural, and it ends up being difficult, stressful, and sometimes very uncomfortable and even painful. I hope things get easier for you, but I’m glad that at the very least your doctor sounds great!
