marriedalready69 :  I love that spinel. The color is so, so pretty. *sigh*

I had to come back to edit my reply to your post. I mis-read it earlier as a “rings we haven’t worn in a while” post. But then realized it was one for rings we never wear. LOL

This is mine:

It’s my grandmother’s engagement ring. My mom gave it to me a couple of years ago. But with the express statement that it was for my daughter, not for me. I never knew my grandmother, but it would be lovely to have a small piece of her in some way. My daughter has no sentimental attachment to the ring whatsoever. (She has her eyes on my dragon-phoenix ring. LOL!) She has told me I should get this one resized so that I can wear it. But I’m not sure I ever will because my mom seemed so adamant about it not really being “mine”.

A lovely pearl and diamond ring my mom gave me – I really should wear it more often……

Some rings my gma gave me. I don’t wear them too much because I would be upset if anything happened to them. Marquise cluster rings. I guess those were in back in the day because both of my grandmas have a bunch of them. Star sapphire and diamond ring. And lastly my most prized possession…a diamond butterfly bracelet my gpa gave my gma as a wedding gift. It was passed on to me as a wedding gift from them.
