Thought I would share my digital mockup of what my invitations will look like. Looking at other peoples’ samples was a huge help to me. Obviously this is rough – I’ll have real patterned paper from Cards & Pockets. The colors are sparkling merlot & dark gray – C&P makes their CMYK codes available so I mocked it up based off of that.
Once the pocketfold is closed up, I’ll add a bellyband out of the same patterned paper and then a little 2×2 square closure with a design or initials on it. Exterior envelope will be dark gray with white hand-addressing.
Here’s a link to the larger image if Bee re-sizes too small to view: http://i.imgur.com/raP44.jpg.
This is all fake information, don’t freak out! Fonts are Gotham, Great Vibes, and Alex Brush. The first letter of our names actually is in Alex Brush while the remainder is in Great Vibes – I liked the capitals from Alex but the lower case from Great Vibes.

I love your invitations! This is sweet and playful but still classy. Good job! 😀

Ooh, I really like this – totally classy. I’m currently going back and forth trying to design my pocketfolds. It seems that when I get something I like, if I go abck to it a couple of days later I change my mind

Thank you! Classy but not stuffy/too formal was exactly the feel I’m going for, I really appreciate the validation (haha!). Although I LOOOVE the really formal invites, don’t get me wrong. Just not quite my feel.

@NAvery: looks great! What sizes are you using for your enclosures? I want mine to stack the way yours do where they are all the same width, but have different heights.

@NAvery: These are so cool! I really like your colours and the ombre effect of the inserts! Totally pinned 🙂
