So the latest saga in my wedding planning are flameless candles. One of the drawbacks amongst the many thing I love about getting married in a building built in the 1700’s and US historical landmark. But they are expensive. Has anyone else used flameless LED candles? How do you make them look like the real thing, without breaking the bank?

they are expensive..I know..my venue has the same rules. I bought a lot of them after Christmas. Try online at save-on-crafts.com or Target had the flameless wax candles…Depanding on how many you need, Try Marshall’s, Homegoods, or Michael’s with a 40% off coupon..
or if you buy the little LED ones can you put them in opaque glass containers..or tissue paper lined jars? It all depends on your other decor… good luck!

I bought some from the Christmas Tree Shops that were very inexpensive. They were $1.99 for the shorter ones, and $2.99 for the tall. They have a marble-y finish, are “melted” inward, and the light flickers, which makes them look pretty realistic. I am really happy with them. They look something like this …
Good luck in your search! 🙂
