(Closed) Dilemma about invites and ceremony location! Help!

    I sent out invites with the safety location and ended up getting the dream location two weeks before the wedding. I notified guests by word of mouth and phone calls.

    I don’t know the etiquette. I suppose the real answer is use and announce the safe location.

    I wonder if it would work to say:

      To be held in  “metro area” at Our Churches Name

    Final location To Follow pending venue renovations.

    Please consult website after such a date or call us  1123-456-7890 for final information.

    ETA:  I suspect some would say that you shouldn’t inconvenience the guest by making them figure out the final location.  But, if you’re already out of the box, then I guess it depends on how far out you want to be.  If you don’t have a huge guest list, maybe you could do the calling/notification.
