(Closed) Dilemma on a discontinued dress

WashDCBride2015:  do you know the designer and style #? I agree it would be easier and more cost effective to find it in a size closer to your size. 

Maybe they weren’t trying to knowingly sell you a discontinued dress, as most stores have many different dresses to keep track of, they may not know the designer decided to discontinue until they tried to order a new one.

Check tradsy or or preowned sites, definitely. Also, call around to other boutiques to see if they might have the same style in a smaller size? David’s Bridal tried to pull the same thing with me (only told me it was discontinued when I found out on my own, swore they only had one size left) and then I found out that the other DB in town had it my size.
