    I really like both, but I think salmon is preferred by more people that swordfish.

    Like everyone else, salmon is pretty ubiquitous. You can’t go wrong with the safe choice. But I would go with swordfish. It’s delicious, and your guests will certainly remember it!

    I love swordfish and that’s what I would want but I agree with the other posters that salmon is a more universally accepted fish choice.

    Salmon – it’s the safe choice. swordfish can be a bit dry at times.

    Swordfish is apparently really bad for you … and it just so happens to be my favorite especially when blackened with lemon. I think if it’s really extremely fresh … which is the only way I’ll eat fish, you cannot make a mistake.

    Swordfish is more mild than salmon. Most people don’t like salmon b/c it’s so … fishy.
