I need your help yet again, bees!
I am kind of stuck when it comes to choosing meal options. Typically, the weddings I’ve attended have offered a chicken or beef, or chicken or seafood, or even three choices. For our wedding, however we get two choices and I’m having a hard time choosing.
Fiance and I both love the pork optoin they have (carmalized applets, shallots and sage gravy- DELISH!) and it’s a very fall type of meal. My dilemma is what to serve as the other choice. Do I offer chicken and pork? My mother thinks offering two white meals is weird (I kind of agree). Then I was thinking the pork and a seafood, but I wanted to choose the stuffed shrimp. People I have talked to think it would be better to offer a fish versus a shellfish. I hate fish, but I oculd have the pork.
Then I was thinking the traditional beef or chicken, but then I lose out on the yummy pork which would go perfectly with our fall wedding. if we offer a beef, I’m also stuck on which one. I cannot afford prime rib (which is somewhat common in my area when it comes to a beef option), would you choose a beef if it wasn’t prime rib? Is it weird to not have a beef or chicken option?
Let me know if you think none of these choices are good (there is a vegetarian choice as well and a vegan, so no worries there). There are a few other seafood choices we could pick instead.
I know this isn’t a crazy dilemma, but I keep going back and forth. Any suggestions?
