(Closed) Direction insert..is it necessary?

Eeeekkkk – I hope not!   We aren’t including them and I’m a teesy bit concerned because parking is a *kinda* rough at our ceremony venue.

We aren’t doing directions in our invites either.  I think that as long as the venue isn’t hard to find it should be okay.

I will not have a direction insert.  All the information will be on my website!

I put directions on how to get there on the website, but I seriously doubt that people will have trouble finding the place. My dad’s family grew up less than a block away from where my fiance’s family lives and I can’t really think of anyone who isn’t at least kind of familiar with this area since I grew up less than 2 hours away.

Rather elegant looking direction cards were provided to us by our venue, so we’ll be including them. They don’t just have directions on them, however. They also have a bit of history about the place and what to expect in terms of weather and parking, so we’ll be including them.

99% of our guests are from out of town/country, so we will be including a direction card. We will also list info on our website.

We are not including a direction card because there are so many different ways to get to our venue (for local guests).  Also, most of our out of town guests are staying in a hotel directly across the street, so it seemed unnecessary.

We are including directions since our wedding is in my hometown and very few of our guests have ever been there.

I am including it because all of our guests are coming from out of town, but I am just printing it on regular cardstock, nothing major.. I am going to do two different inserts, one from my hometown and one from where we currently live.  Our wedding will be Out of Town for all of the guests…

I was going to only because as a wedding guest, I’ve been dependent on those directions before. But if your route isn’t complicated, you shouldn’t need them.

Lots of people don’t have GPS systems. The last wedding I attended, if there was no direction card, I never would have found where it was. We are definitely including them, and nearly everyone we know has always used them in the past.
