Did you include directions with your invitations?
We have our inviations and are sending them out in about two weeks (!!!) and I didn’t even think about directions until today. An older relative of FI’s asked about including directions with the invitiations and I said probably but we haven’t done it yet.
I think it will probably be a good idea to include at least basic directions. We are having our ceremony and reception at the same place so that’s easy enough. Did you just print your directions on regular paper? What did you use as starting points for the different directions?

I included them in ours but our wedding is also 8+ hours away so I felt I should include a little bit of something. I will also have them at the ceremony for those that forgot them to get to the reception site. For the different starting points I just chose the two main directions people would be coming from and started them when they were getting about 15 miles out.

I am including a directions card that has directions from the hotel that we have the block at to the Church, and then from the Church to the reception site. We will also have the directions on our website.
I plan to make a directions card to hand out at the Rehearsal as well that gives directions from the Church to the restaurant, and back to the hotel.

You should contact your venue they might have direction cards to give you, or check the website.

I did. Most of my wedding guests are from out of town, and I wanted to make everything as simple as possible for everyone. Because my wedding is in a small town I just started at the main highway that runs to our town, then to the venue. I think a lot of people just copy the directions over from google maps, or other map sources.

I only included a map in one invitation (for FI’s elderly aunt who is SO rude about not receiving one). I used the Bing hand drawn map app. Easy peasy.

I did, since alot of people need to travel for mine. But I made them very specific and easy to follow!! Also a list of hotels and rates.

I didn’t, but I included a note to visit our wedding website for more information (including directions). The invitation included the address of our venue, and 99% of the people who attended our wedding are capable and likely to punch that address into their computer, smart phone, or GPS and find their way on their own. Not a single person asked us for directions, nor did anyone get lost.
