Mine was in my opinion FIL-THY.  I was surprised then after realized that I did it to myself.  Here is a post I made:

There was no garantee that a cleaner would get it all out (actually dry cleaning isn’t a good clean) and still cost a fortune.  After talking to my dress maker I felt better about my idea of machine washing it.  She offered to hand wash it…but I wouldn`t let anyone do that…it was way too dirty.  I needed to get wet!  I threw it in the machine  and I was surprised at how well it worked.  Not 100% but pretty close to and way better than I had hoped.
