Sup Bees! I really want to make some of these awesome ribbon wreaths!
I think they would be really pretty hanging on the barn doors at my venue. But I need some advice…
1. My colors are aubergine, burnt orange, brown, and a green accent color. Should the wreaths (there will be 4, since there are two doors on one side of the barn and another two doors across) be all aubergine, all orange, or mix them up? One one side, an aubergine and an orange wreath? That seems odd to me, but maybe not….
2. Where can I find some discount ribbon and how do I know it’s the right shade? Or should I just hope for a close enough shade?
Anyone else tried this wreath?

I don’t have a recommendation for color as I don’t know the color of the doors.
I would do all one color though as multiples of one color have more visual impact, unless you wanted to try to bring in your other colors at the bottom of the wreath to look like a bow.
As for sources for the ribbon, why don’t you pm Mrs Star who just posted today about ordering 100 yds of ribbon from an online source for $10. I’m sure she would share her source.

I bought a bunch of ribbon on ebay cheaply. I did take a little chance that the colors would be right but it worked. Good luck!

I used http://www.papermart.com I think I got 50 yards for 12 dollars & that was grosgrain, not satin. It’s a super website.

What are the colors of the doors? That could really help, but since you have four colors, you could easily do four wreaths in the colors of your wedding!
