I thought this could be helpful for lots of people! It seems like lots of places give student discounts, they just don’t like to tell you up front about it!
JCrew gives 20% off and The Limited gives 15% off! I saved some money this weekend, YAY!

How do you get the JCrew discount? I know I got CS4 (w/Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign & Acrobat) for $309 (way less than that $1700 list price) as a student.

Apple has great student discounts for when you buy a computer!
I know when traveling abroad I always buy an ISIC card. They give you great discounts at museums and other sites to see.

I know the Angelika movie chain has specials for students on Mondays–movie ticket, soda & popcorn for the student rate.
And the chain Cafe Express gives 10% meals to students at 2 local colleges.

You just tell JCrew you are a student. You whip out your ID and they chop 20% off!!!!! You get free shipping, too. For instance, I went in and ordered a purse (ummm it was more than i want to say) and shipping online was over $20! Well i ordered it in store, got 20% off (totally justified the new price!) and got free shipping. She was soooo nice!
Oooooo i’m so ready to upgrade my photoshop to CS4! I’d like Illustrator too even though I don’t know how to use it!

Actually, the CS4 was the Premimum through Acadmeic Superstore or JourneyEd. All you have to do is find the price (they hide the cheap version) after you enter your school and then send a pdf of your bill/schedule. Totally worth it since an upgrade is $199–assuming you already have a full version of CS.
