Do you have a Paper Source nearby? I think your centerpieces could beefit with having a couple other types of flowers mixed in, and Paper Source has paper flower kits for a few different types of flowers. The best part is that when the kit flowers are gone, you can use the templates to make more.
Also, I find that paper flowers look nicest when they aren’t trying too hard to look like real flowers. Have you seen what these flowers would look like with a printed paper, like sheet music or pages from a book? Or even a nice vintage print?

I love them! Personally I think they look so whimsical and chic at the same time. Screw what anyone else says. Nobody at your wedding is going to be wondering why you have paper flower centerpieces..not only are they gorgeous but they will be celebrating your special day!

You did a great job, honestly. I wouldn’t say anything if I didn’t like them. It’s your wedding, if you and your fiancé like them that’s what matters 🙂 but they are cute and unique!

So I hardly ever comment anymore, but I had to sign in just so could let you know that those look amazing! I am really liking this idea, and you did one hell of a job on them! Now I want to learn how to do this so I can decorate our house with a bouquet! Too cool!!

@Sassy9226: The flowers look great…you did a great job! I made paper flowers for my wedding too and I let our guests take the flowers home with them after the reception if they wanted to. I’ve actually visted a few friends and relatives recently that have the flowers on display in their homes so they must have liked them!

I think the flowers are gorgeous! I agree maybe doing a different vase or maybe adding something in the vase like pebbles or something to add a little something else!

Thanks everyone for the support. I started working I them again today when I got home from work. It doesn’t feel like such a lost cause anymore. I think maybe the stress was getting to me. Fiance thinks I’ve taken on too many DIY projects but I guess we’ll see. He also doesn’t much care about centerpieces.

The flowers themselves are beautiful! I’m making paper flowers too and have received some of the same responses as you have. Don’t sweat it!
