IMO- Disneyland is ALWAYS ridiculous. People watching is half the fun…. and going o close to the holidays will be a blast! If you can afford to fly, rent a car, etc. I’d say go for it. But Fiance and I love to go on road trips and drive places 🙂

We’re going the week after Christmas! It should be lovely around the holidays. I don’t think traffic’s going to be any worse than normal, unless you plan to drive back late on Sunday.

I was at disneyland over spring break once and it was pretty bad, but I HATE being in a crowd. If you don’t mind waiting then go! You might have a lot of fun! My husband and I went to So cal for our honeymoon and we stayed in a place called Hotel Maya in Long beach. It was super nice. it is kind of far from disneyland thoguh, but if you are just doing a so cal vacation it is pretty cool. plus there is a boat shuttle you can take to catalina island from there!

Ummmm I’m totally Disney obsessed. Go and have fun! Who cares about the rest?! If there are any Christmas parties being held after hours, buy tickets and stay, it’s totally worth it!

I’ve been to Disneyland on the day after Thanksgiving once before.  It could have been the rainy weather, but it was the one day we stood in very few lines and really enjoyed ourselves.  Fly into Cali ON Thanksgiving Day for great rates on flights and enjoy!

I’ve heard the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are insane, although Thanksgiving Day is supposed to be less crowded (at least at Disney World from what my co-workers say).

But we went Jan 4-6 and it was so much nicer than when I’ve gone in summer, if you go right after Christmas it’s much better!  Although I’m with PP, it’s DISNEY!  I’d go any day of the year, I loooove Disney!

I would advise not going any time close to the holidays. But I say that because I just cannot stand the lines & crowds. If you don’t mind, then totally go for it. DL will already be decorated for Christmas (usually until 1/2 or 1/3) and it’s so beautiful!
