I have been on a disney cruise! Not for my honeymoon obviously. But I went on one a couple years ago. It was just my ex and I, and it was amazing. It was the BEST food i’ve eaten. I was super nervous being that we didn’t bring our son (he was barely 1 at the time, so we ended up deciding not to bring him and I ended up being happy about that). I didn’t have concierge level but we had a veranda which i highly recommend. I loved the spa also!

There isn’t much privacy on Disney cruise for a honeymoon.

Kids. Everywhere.

I would check other cruise lines that are more geared to entertaining adults to relax.

deebee01 :  I thought this would be more of an issue than it really was.

On the crusie there are specific areas for adults only. We chose the later dinner where there were less kids (still were some but no different than going out to a nice restaruant any other day). For our destination stops, we chose to do excursions that kids couldn’t do.

We’ve been on two Disney cruises as well as on other cruise lines as childless adults and Disney is by far our favorite. The best food, the best entertainment, the best cabins, and the drink prices are reasonable! Granted we are both huge Disney fans but we never felt the cruise was overrun by kids. There are plenty of adult areas and even the public areas are fine. Most of the kids stay in the kids clubs all day. Oh and Castaway’s private adult beach is TO DIE FOR. Once we found 9 starfish at the sandbar there. Do it! 🙂

If you are going on the Dream or the Fantasy, look up the category 8A rooms. They are oceanview rooms with two portholes, they are enormous. Also category 5E at the back of the ship are extended verandahs, they are huge too. We’ve never done concierge.

My in-laws have been on a Disney cruise, and they loved it! I would imagine the concierge level would be quite a treat.
