While this is definitely not my style – I think that the entire thing looks fun!!!  I can tell that they definitely put a lot of effort into working the theme into the decorations, etc.

I’ve seen this before.  It makes me smile because I love The Little Mermaid and Disney in general, lol.  Not something I would choose to do but I’d love to attend a wedding like that — it screams fun!

@FutureMrs86:  I don’t think I could have my girls do it either LOL.  I wanted them to all look like themselves but it does look like it’d be fun, lol.  I think the idea is cool if someone is really into Disney.  Everyone’s wedding needs to be special to them in their own way — looks like she made her day special by adding Disney so good for her.

And she chose to be the best Princess ever.

Yes, I’ve seen this circulation over the last week or so.  Definitely not my style.  I’m a soon-to-be Disney bride and there will hardly be anything Disney-related at the wedding, save for maybe a little Mickey Mouse ears crystal in my bouquet.

I saw this yesterday, actually. I tried on the dress she’s wearing, haha.

Anyway. This is a really awful thing to do to bridesmaids (I hope they didn’t have to pay for those dresses). She very well could have worn that dress and done her hair like that and then allowed the bridesmaids to dress up as bridesmaids and not cartoon characters. Little touches would have been nice–I like the bouquets, the flower girl, and her fascinator, for example. Her BMs just look miserable. :

I just saw that!  Now I am a Disney fan big time but I don’t think I could do this.  Maybe a Disney kids party for future kids though haha.

I did get engaged in Disney and he added touches of Beauty and the Beast but thats all we’re doing lol

It was definitely a fun and different idea!  Glad she got the wedding she wanted 🙂

i agree with vorpalette  Though i LOVED the idea, i think that there could have been a MUCH better way to execute the bridesmaid dresses… they looked a little… odd

I love Disney, but I would never go all-out like that on a wedding. I might add a couple of Disney-esque touches to my own wedding, like some Beauty and the Beast inspired centerpieces I found on the Bee a few weeks ago.

I have to agree, the BM dresses could’ve been better. I’m not a fan. I would’ve loved to see some blue/green mermaid-style dresses or something like that.

@vorpalette:  She could have done a better job with executing her bridesmaid’s dresses.  Those looked like the cheap Halloween costumes from Party City.  Also, clearly she picked her bridesmaids based on who they would best be as a Disney princess.  Just really cheesy looking.

@vorpalette:  totally agree. Maybe BM dresses in the colors of the princess they were portraying. But then again some people like to dress up in costumes for their wedding. More power the bride I guess but I wouldn’t have been a BM if I had to play Halloween lol

So adorable!  I wish they had shown a close up of the groomsmen.  Having a hard time figuring out who they all are!
