I’ve stayed there a couple times when I was little and I remember always loving it. My parents stayed there for part of their honeymoon too and they still talk about it 30 years later ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s nice that its right there on the monorail too.

oh you will love it! so many opportunities for romance. try to catch the fireworks from the beach one night. and get a Tonga toast for breakfast one morning and think of me ๐Ÿ˜‰

and here is an unofficial (and way more informative than the disney site) website for the Polynesian. http://www.tikimanpages.com/tiki/

oh! also… if you were planning on going to the parks for night-time extra magic hours, the monorail will not be running for the extra magic hours anymore. so if you stay late, you will need to take other transportation back to your hotel… ferry boats and busses still run late.

One of our fave Disney resorts!  As a PP said, make sure you do the luau at O’hana’s (sp?) & the view of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom is awesome!  You’ll also be on the monorail, which is not a given for most of the other Disney resorts.  Enjoy!
