MrsMeowton, you’re going to love Disney!  I’ve been to Disney World in Florida 3 separate times (I live in Canada) and the last time we were there is when I got engaged right at the Germany area in Epcot at the start of the fireworks.  It was so perfect!  We’re planning our honeymoon to California and will be making sure we fit in at least one day of Disneyland.  I’ve seen tons of people walking around Disney wearing the shirts or wedding ears and they will give you a free pin that says Just Married so that the cast members can congratulate you!  I consider myself a service expert working in hotels and Disney is the number one hospitality company in the world – they really get it right through and through!  I don’t think you will be disapointed!

I stayed at Port Orleans Riverside with my family and we all loved it! Great value for the price, it’s got a quiet woodsy vibe, easy bus transport to all the parks and you can take a lovely romantic boat ride to Downtown Disney and not have to worry about downtown Disney traffic/parking!

Which resort did you end up booking?

And it’s great that you’ve been there before so you won’t be rushing to do everything. I say for a more romantic and relaxed Disney trip, take your time to enjoy the details and prioritize your favorites so you don’t stress yourself out. We enjoyed a wonderful relaxed foodie day at Epcot eating tapas in Morocco, ice cream in Paris, margaritas in Mexico, steak dinner in Canada. even though it’s always crowded, you can find your quiet romantic moments in hidden corners when you slow down and enjoy the little things and each other’s company!

And Disneyworld has a new Magic Band FastPass system if you stay on property. It’ll let you preplan before you even arrive and book fastpasses for up to three rides/attractions per day. It’ll definitely help you do your priorities without the stress of rushing and waiting in line! Log in to the disneyworld website with your reservation info and you can even customize your magic band color and name (you can even do titles like Hubby and Wifey or whatever you want!) and have them send it to you before!

good luck and have a blast!!
