I just now see you’re from St. Pete and you have Annual Passes, why don’t you book a few days at Disney and a few days at Universal? If you’re into a more local experience stay in Downtown Orlando for a night or two and try out Wall Street then walk or take the NEW free Lymmo Bus down Central Ave to Lake Eola/Thornton Park. There may even be a concert or game at the Arena while you’re in town. I wouldn’t make downtown your base since it’s a drive from the attractions but a night or two can be fun, especially if it’s an OTown Bar Crawl night.

We went to Disney on the last day of our honeymoon after our cruise. We stayed in an offsite hotel since we were only there for 2 nights and it was much cheaper than the park hotels. Lots of offsite hotels offer free shuttles to Disney, ours did. It was great not to have to worry about parking. I didn’t feel like we missed out on anything by staying offsite.
