Our family is going to Disney World in March (the kids are freaking out) which will be pretty cool. I’m wondering if I should wear my rings or get a cheapie stand in. When I had smaller rings I wouldn’t have worried but these are new and bigger.

Are the rings insured? If so, wear them. They are meant to be worn. I wore my set to Destination Wedding and didn’t think twice about it. The park is safe. Unless you plan on screaming to everyone “Look at my huge ass rings! I bet someone would love to steal these!” I think you will be fine.

I don’t see why you would need stand ins for Disney World. It is a safe place.

Nope. I went for part of my honeymoon and it was totally fine.

I’d be more worried about leaving my rings at home than taking them with me. If you’re really worried, leave them in a safety deposit box and get a stand in set. Personally, I’d wear ’em and take a hand shot w/the castoe in the backgroun. Enjoy your trip!

freckles071611: Honestly, even if you scream that, I can’t imagine anyone mugging someone in the middle of Main Street USA. What would the barbershop quartet think??

lilredcat: Well the rides at Destination Wedding aren’t that extreme (well the majority of them aren’t). Really, they will be fine.

ohnoitslindsay: LOL! Well those barbershop quartet guys can be pretty shady. You never know, they may come up to you, start singing to distract you, and then rip your rings off! 😉

I would leave mine, but that’s cause I’d smack it against things and in general don’t like wearing rings when my hands will get dirty (ie water parks, summer heat and sweat).

My rings aren’t particularly big but I wore them on all of the rides at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. When we went to aquatica and wet and wild I left them in the safe In the hotel room.

I wore my new ring zip lining in Jamaica the day after my sweetie proposed lol I can understand not wanting to bang it on anything, but I think you’ll be okay. I hope the rides aren’t too violent lol

I regularly go to Universal, WDW etc (luckily I live in Tampa!) and I have a diamond eternity band and a delicate e-ring. It’s fine. As long as your rings fit, you’re fine. It’s not crazy rides.
If you are uncomfortable or are concerned about your hands swelling up with all the heat and junk food, now that’s another thing.
