I got proposed to there, and there was definitely no way I was taking off my brand new ring 😀
You’ll be fine though.

I’m willing to bet money that they’ll be just fine. No stand in needed.
Hey, I’ve noticed a lot of posts about stand-in rings. So I thought I’d ask not sure why people are getting nasty about it. I thought stand-ins were a thing for so many.
Â
Nope! I am going to Destination Wedding for New Years and will be rocking my set! Of course, I don’t ever wear stand ins, not even on beach vacations. Personally, the safest place for my rings is on my finger!
I’ve worn my rings to Disney World and Disneyland countless numbers of times. They’re fine. It’s no different than wearing them anywhere. If you are worried they will break, you might want to talk to a jeweler about how sturdy your set is. I know I’m a bit of a klutz, so I specifically chose a set that could stand up to whatever I threw at it. Almost 20 years later, it’s like new.
Also, it seems like everyone wears their rings there. We recently got back from 2 weeks at a deluxe resort, and some of the women at our resort were covered in diamonds. I would leave them in the safe when you go to the pool, just in case. They might slip off. But wear your rings.
as long as it fits well, and doesn’t already have any loose prongs or other issues, it’ll be fine!
i agree with other Bees, if you do a water park, then i would leave it in the hotel safe.
enjoy your trip!!
I wear mine to Disney at least once a month (and we go on all the big rides!). My e-ring is set very high and I still don’t have a problem with it there 🙂
Have fun!!!
ETA: I have a stand-in that I wore on a Vegas trip without my Fiance. I wanted something cheap I could wear in the pools. Also, that was before my real ring was insured!
I wear either just my band or a stand in when we go to Disney. The rings would be fine but I hate wearing a ring when my hands are sticky, dirty, hot, or swollen… and all of those things happen at least once each day I’m at Disney. I like to wear a ring I’m not afraid to put in my purse or pocket when I can’t tolerate the feel of it anymore. I highly doubt your ring would get damaged while there. It’s more likely that it would just get really dirty.
I wore my rings to Disneyworld and never had a problem. As long as they aren’t loose and sliding off your fingers, they’re fine. And don’t take them off and leave them on the counter to wash your hands in public washrooms!! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard about women losing their rings that way. Leave them on! Disneyworld is a very safe place, but don’t leave anything behind or it’s gone as there’s so many people there.
I go to Disney all the time and I never think twice about a Stand in. I won’t wear my ring to Mexico and stuff but Disney I have no issues. I also ride all the rides with my hands up and no issues Either. Have a blast. 🙂
If your ring fits you don’t have to worry about it flying off and if you have a diamond I wouldn’t really worry about it bumping on anything. I just wore my rings all through our honeymoon in Thailand including trecking through the jungle, white water rafting, and swimming in the ocean and they were fine!
Besides, it’s Disneyworld…… If it was Compton…… Then maybe 🙂
