I can’t believe there are people who like stuff that I don’t. Just boggles my mind.

to all those saying it’s lame, or creepy or Juvinille, how would you like it if I said your Steotypical “we were just sitting on the couch after dinenr and he asked” or “we went out for our aniversary and he got down on one knee after dinner” proposals were lame and boring (not to mention that really, how much effort does that take on your man’s behalf?)?  I think this is really cool and magical!  She obviosuly loves frozen and that song, and he did his best to make her happy!  What’s wrong with that?  He obviously put a LOT of effort in, and I say that’s all anyone can ask of their husband.

I am an adult who is passionate about Disney, I love it.  In fact, we went to Disneyland on our Honneymoon, and my Husband proposed with a Statue of Mickey and Minnie getting married instead of a ring (we went shopping later), it was perfect and so very very me.

I personally think that adults who don’t have the capacity in their hearts to accept that eveyone has different passions and loves and lives and judges others for being “lame” or nerdy” or “creepy” are complete B**CHES.  JMHO 🙂

Oooooh. I didn’t realize that the only way to avoid having a stereotypical/boring/lame/meaningless proposal was to make sure that it included costumes. Got it. 😉

TheLadyA :  No one said that. She just said insulting someone’s proposal is a dick move, no matter what kind of proposal it is.

Jabberwocky:  exactly!  Thank you!!!  I was never saying they were boring or lame, just pointing out that you wouldnt like it if people did say that!

dommiebatsch:  I personally wouldn’t care if you called my proposal lame, boring or any other negative adjective. I stopped seeking validation from other people when I finished middle school.

ClaudiaKishi:  it’s great that you’re so confident 🙂  A lot of us, however, aren’t, and when we share something we love and think is amazing with the bee hive, id hope that people would offer nice and constructive feedback, which hasn’t happened here.  If you don’t have something nice, helpful or constructive to say, don’t say it at all.

I’m joking around. This is amusing to me…

I honestly couldn’t care less what anybody else does for their proposal, and y’all that are getting all offended shouldn’t care either lol. Like I said, this was cheesy IMO. If you like it, wonderful.

I’m wondering – please, no offense to anyone intended – whether this is more of an “age category” thing. They both look very young.

I will admit that I watched and loved cartoons until I was into my early twenties (I’ll even admit I collected stuffed animals until I was about 21)!! At that time, that kind of proposal would have probably been super thoughtful and romantic, and the truth is, the guy sure did put a huge obvious effort into it!! That being said – I personally wouldn’t have been caught dead wearing something like that in public.

One day I just grew out of the cartoon/stuffy phase I guess, and honestly if my Fiance proposed that way now, I’d run for the hills as it would emanate sheer creepiness and immaturity in my opinion.

So, it’s not my taste but that’s probably because I’m old, haha!

ClaudiaKishi:  +1. I couldn’t care less what people think of my proposal.

I find a Disney themed proposal a bit odd, but as I said, each to their own. My proposal was perfect for me, and I’m sure this proposal was perfect for this couple. But if my OH proposed like that I’d be weirded out lol
