I’m watching Up as I write this.
It’s my favourite movie of all time, hands down. It’s just so sweet, although I always cry in the beginning 🙁
Anyone else appreciate it as much as I do?? 😀
And I know this has been posted before, but I thought I’d post it again cos it’s so amazing:

I have heard a
lot of people say that Up is one of their favorite Disney movies… unfortunately I thought it was depressing and teared up through most of it lol!

It hit me hard as I was raised by my grandparents. I always get a bit choked up when I see older people alone and seemingly lonely. That being said I really loved the movie.
Side note, while eating at a Denny’s on vacation this summer my friends and I sat next to an old man that I swear was the spitting image of the old man from Up. We were dying!!!

It kinda bored me….. Although I do admit, the beginning is sweet and a tearjerker.

@MapleMoose: yeah, when i first watched it with Darling Husband, i baaaawled into his shoulder at the beginning! T_T it’s visually great, but super depressing!

Oh my god the begining was so sad!! But I did think it was a really cute movie! Not my favorite Disney movie ever but I still loved it 🙂

We knew it’d be a different kind of Disney movie when we were bawling in the first five minutes. At my dream Disney World vow-renewal we’ll do the processional to “Married Life”, have our children carry balloons down the aisle instead of flowers and our this will be our guestbook. Not that I have it planned already.

I loved this movie. I cried so much the first time watching it, then cried again all over when Fiance got home and I started to explain the plot.

“I was hiding under your porch because I love you…”
Yep, whole movie pretty much makes me cry. But I still love it so much <3 🙂

I’ve never seen the movie, but now I must! A gf of mine and her fiance’ are having an “UP” themed wedding in the Spring.

UP was definitely a different kind of movie from Pixar (technically, Disney just distrubuted it, didn’t actually make it-they’re completely different animation studios), but it had me totally bawling in the first 10 minutes after that montage with Ellie and Carl!
hey, has anyone seen the trailer for Pixar’s new movie Brave? it looks AWESOME.
all i can say, after seeing it is, DAT HAIR. i’m so excited for Pixar’s first female lead! (finally!!)
