lol I love it.  You made it very subtle that the daugther is not invited, yet it doesn’t come off rude.  That’s a great email.  and kudos to you for taking the higher road!

I think you did the right thing! Your email is very polite, but still gets the point across 🙂
Hopefully she can take a hint and notice you didn’t mention her single daughter!

I love it – firm while still respectful. I wonder how she’ll reply?

It sounds good. Its great that you are deciding to be so level headed. Just be on the watch out though! She might take your level headed-ness as weakness and feed off it. I wouldnt be surprised if she doesnt still have her daughter come. It sucks how many out right mean people are out there. Be tough though! Obviously there isnt much this lady probably wont do. Good Luck though and have a fantasic wedding! After this you dont deserve anymore stress!

Extremely classy…I love that you excluded her daughter from the invite list. Please keep us updated on her response. I’d love to hear what she has to say…

I went back and read your other thread, and I feel like you are handling the situation rather graciously.

I think that the email sounds good.  You made it clear that only she and her husband are invited, but in a polite way.  Hopefully this lady get the hint that her daughter is not invited!
